Tips & Tricks

  • Some meat departments or butchers will remove the salmon skin for you to make preparing this dish even easier. So check to see if your local counter is able to do this.
  • The smokey heat of this dish is undeniably delicious, but if you need to tamp it down, you can skip the sliced red chili peppers and reduce the Sriracha to 1 teaspoon.
  • Add a few of your favorite cooked veggies to this bowl, such as broccoli, sliced carrots, or edamame! These Firecracker Salmon Bowls are versatile and customizable, which is why they’re a family favorite!
  • Store any leftovers (for the perfect lunch) in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Keep the avocado slices separate though so that you don’t accidentally heat them up and turn them brown or wait to slice them until you’re ready to eat!
