While most people have Christmas dinner, we do a big dinner on Christmas Eve. The whole family goes over to my stepmom’s house on Christmas Eve. We have dinner, open presents, and spend all day together. Now, my husband, boys and I still spend Christmas Day stuff with my mom and mother-in-law, but Christmas Eve is our big event. Usually, dinner is centered around a themed potluck style meal, but some years we do a traditional dinner.
