Ingredients

water

granulated sugar
Instructions
Place water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Heat until just about simmering being sure to stir until sugar has dissolved.
Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
Store in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 1 month.
Notes
You can make ALL kinds of different simple syrup infusions by cooking and steeping herbs and spices in your simple syrup before storing.
