3dried mission figs

Heat a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the bacon until crispy, flipping once. Remove to a paper towel lined plate to cool. Drain bacon fat from skillet.
Thinly slice the figs, and set them aside.
Spread 1/2 tablespoon butter on one side of each slice of bread.
Place one bread slice, butter side down, in the same skillet you used to cook the bacon. Top bread with a slice of muenster cheese, then sliced figs, then the bacon strips, and finally another slice of cheese. Place second bread slice on top of the filling, butter side up.
Cook the sandwich for 3 to 4 minutes per side over medium heat, until cheese has melted and bread is golden brown on either side. Serve warm.
