Dinner is a breeze every night when you make One-Pot 10 Minute Dinners with Gobble!
Going out to eat is one of my favorite splurges. Being waited on and not having to cook (or do dishes) is awesome. A glass of wine never hurts either. While it’s great to go out for a fantastic meal, it’s not always in the budget.
Then came along the cook at home subscription boxes. Order the meals you like from the choices offered and you get a big brown box full of every ingredient you’ll need in pre-portioned sizes to make each recipe. Sounds pretty cool right? I’ve tried a couple of these services and Gobble is definitely my favorite!
Each meal from Gobble is designed to be made in 3 easy steps in about 10 minutes in one pan. Minimal clean up, SUPER easy, and oh.my.god the flavors!!! I ordered the Malaysian Seafood Curry and Meyer Lemon Gnocchi dinners. Each kit is enough for 2 people, and not like “Really? This if supposed to feed two people?” but like “Hey dinner’s ready and it looks great!” The colors, the smells, oh the smells, and the taste! The Gobble dinners are just as good (if not better) than going out to eat. The meals are ready in a fraction of the time and I didn’t have to tip anyone. They’re such a great option during the week for me and Mike.
Even though my boys are still pretty damn picky about the food they’ll eat, they love to help me cook and bake. Gobble dinners are a great chance for my oldest to practice cooking with a little supervision. I do the chopping if the recipe requires any, and Otto cooks the meal. He loves learning how to prepare the ingredients, learning proper cooking techniques, and because he helped cook the meal he’ll always try a little bite for me…even if something new. It’s been a great learning experience for him and I love our time in the kitchen together.
SO GOOD! Like I really wish I could give you all a bite through my computer screen. If you’re serving a family of four the vegetarian dishes like this gnocchi would be great alongside grilled chicken breasts for everyone. Make it stretch kids. And and and right now Gobble has a braised pork belly with charred brussels sprouts & broken rice congee that sounds amaze-balls. I can’t wait to order my next box!
