This Easy Turkey Gravy Recipe is the perfect addition to your Thanksgiving table! This savory sauce is delicious on white meat, dark meat, and all over your mashed potatoes!
I have a love-hate relationship with Thanksgiving. As much as I love all the food and spending time with my family, tackling the big meal head on and having my kitchen be extra hot can take a toll on a girl (or guy)! The first year I hosted Thanksgiving it kicked my butt. Luckily I’ve become a pro at Thanksgiving dinner. I know how to cook Thanksgiving turkey like nobody’s business and I outsource the majority of our sides and dessert. This lets me focus on my husband’s favorite Caramelized Onion & Cornbread Dressing, the big bird, and this yummy gravy recipe. It’s all about not overwhelming yourself and letting everyone become part of the meal.
Now, this gravy…it’s kind of amazing. Velvety smooth, loaded with flavor, and all those delicious roasting juices. OMG! Soooo good! We family loves pouring this gravy all over their turkey and whatever potatoes are being served. I’ve even been known to dip my stuffing in this gravy.
To keep and saltiness down, I use low-sodium chicken broth and leave out the salt. Really. There are a salt and pepper shakers on the table. Anyone who wants more salt can add it. I like this gravy just the way it is.
