Creep your friends out with a fruity Beetlejuice Cocktail this Halloween! It will have everyone yelling Betelgeuse! Betelgeuse! Betelgeuse!
I loved watching Beetlejuice as a kid and now my boys are completely obsessed with it. So you can imagine how super excited I was when I came across this drink.
The colors might not look all that enticing, but this sweet and fruity drink is the total opposite of how it looks. It’s one of my favorite Halloween cocktails to scare up some fun with all the guys and ghouls!

This vodka cocktail is loaded with fruity liqueurs that’ll have everyone asking for another round. The combination of Midori, Chambord, blue curaçao, and sweet & sour give this drink a bright Beetlejuice green color. Then we add some cranberry to creep it up!
If you’re familiar with your color wheel, you’ll remember green and red make brown. That color combo stirred together gives this drink a creepy greenish-brown color. Totally awesome for a Halloween party! (Or if you like the layers, float the cranberry juice on top and don’t mix it in.)
So “let’s turn on the juice and see what shakes loose.” The ghost with the most knows what he’s talking about people!
Be sure to serve this drink with a black & white striped straw…so the sandworms feel the love too. I snagged these Skull Double Old Fashioned Glasses from World Market, but they’re no longer available. 🙁 These printed-on skull glasses and skull-shaped glasses are some good options if you want the same vibes.
If you want to know what some total strangers think about this recipe, check out the 2019 Halloween episode of The Drunk Mormon Podcast! They made this Beetlejuice Cocktail to throwback during this show. (The whole episode is great, but they get to talking about this drink around 5 mins and 40 seconds in.)
